7th grade: NO HOMEWORK

8th grade: Finish Comparing TV's (if you did not finish in class) and the Word Problem worksheet pg. 53 (What do two bullets have when they get married?) is homework.

Tuesday

7th grade: You need to finish the "Skating Party" project. It is due the Monday that you return.

8th grade: Several students did not complete the Pythagorean Theorem worksheet. Those students need to complete it over the break.

8th grade: Finish Pythagorean Theorem WS pg. 340-341

Thursday

7th grade: Finish 1-6 on the equation word problem worksheet.

8th grade: No HW.

Tuesday

7th grade: They need to study their math journal or worksheets to prepare for tomorrow's test over the properties of numbers (commutative, associative, and distributive properties) and equations.

8th grade: They need to complete and study the review materials that were handed out in class today. The test tomorrow is over is square roots, scientific notation, and rational or irrational numbers.

Monday

7th grade: Quiz wednesday over equations. Homework tonight is (1-3, 7-9, 17, 20) on the solving basic equations worksheet (pg.21).

8th grade: Quiz Wednesday over square roots and rational/irrational numbers. They have the opportunity to retake their perfect squares tomorrow morning at 8:00 A.M.

Friday

7th grade: No HW. Quiz over equations on Wednesday.

8th grade: Now HW. Quiz over square roots on Wednesday.

Thursday

7th grade: Finish 9-24 on the two-step equation worksheet (Infinite Algebra). Quiz next Wednesday over equations.

8th grade: 8A finish 1-10 on square root worksheet. 8B no homework. Perfect Squares test re-takes are Tuesday at 8:00 AM. Quiz next wednesday over square roots.

Wednesday

7th grade: They need to finish 1-20 on the two-step equation worksheet. Make sure you show all of your work. Quiz next Wednesday over our algebra unit.

8th grade: No homework. They have a quiz over simplifying and operations with square roots next Wednesday.

Tuesday

7th grade: Finish 1-20 on the one-step equation homework worksheet.

8th grade: Quiz over perfect squares tomorrow. They also need to do problems 1-6 on the simplify square roots worksheet.

Monday

7th grade: Distributive Property WS for HW

8th grade: Finish Square Root WS - Both sides for HW. Quiz Wednesday over the Perfect Squares (1-15).

Friday

7th grade: No HW.

8th grade: Finish square root worksheet for homework. Only do the "Double Cross" side.

Thursday

7th grade: We started working on the properties of real numbers today. No HW tonight.

8th grade: We started working on perfect squares and square roots today. They will have a quiz over the perfect squares next Wednesday.
