7th grade: They have a sheet to finish for homework that reviews stem and leaf plots and line plots. Quiz Wednesday.

8th grade: They have a paper to finish that reviews compound probability. Quiz Wednesday.

Friday

NO HOMEWORK! Have a great weekend!

7th grade: plan on a quiz wednesday over mean, median, mode, range, and the graphs we have learned thus far

8th grade: plan on a quiz Wednesday over counting principle and compound probability

Thursday

7th grade: They have a histogram worksheet to complete tonight for homework

8th grade: They have a probability worksheet (pg.50 and 52) to complete for homework.

Wednesday

7th grade: No homework- we will start reviewing graphs tomorrow.

8th grade: No homework- we will continue working on compound probability tomorrow.

Tuesday

7th grade: No homework tonight. They received their 7th grade trip information packet which is due back next Friday. Here is the link to the documents if you would like to print them off yourself.

7th grade: The students need to finish the activity " What's in a name?" They need to write letters explaining their work.

8th grade: They need to finish the table and graph for "Spinning in Circles?"

Friday

7th grade: 7A has an assignment to finish over the weekend- "Time for Work." Most of the class did not finish.

8th grade: No homework

Thursday

7th grade: We started our unit "Dealing with Data". They got their quizzes back and have the opportunity to retake the tests next Tuesday at 8 if they do not like their scores.

8th grade: We are still working on counting principle. We will begin probability tomorrow.

Tuesday

7th grade: HW over multiplication and division of decimals. Quiz tomorrow over all operations with decimals.

8th grade: HW on the counting principle

Monday

7th grade:

HW tonight over adding and subtracting decimals. Quiz over all operations with decimals on Wednesday.

8th grade:

We started our unit on probability on counting principle. They do not have homework tonight.

Please make sure your student has set up a system of organization that works for him or her. I would recommend a folder for each class, a binder with dividers, or an expandable folder with a section for each class.
