7th grade: We had our star student celebration today in 7th grade. The student who earned 18 or more stars received a celebration to recognize their success. Math's Mate is due tomorrow.

8th grade: They need to complete graphing the functions on the "Spanish Explorers" worksheet. Math's Mate due tomorrow.

Wednesday

7th grade: We are working on transformations- specifically rotations. We will test over transformations next Friday. Math Mate is due this Friday.

8th grade: We are working on graphing equations. We will continue to cover this material and test next Friday. Math Mate is due this Friday.

No homework tonight. Math Mate due Friday.

Tuesday

7th grade: They need to finish the coordinate plane activity if they haven't already, and the math mate is due Friday.

8th grade: They need to study for the quiz tomorrow. Math Mate due Friday.

Thursday

7th grade: They have a coordinate plane activity to complete tonight for homework and their math mate is due tomorrow.

8th grade: They have a set theory worksheet to complete tonight and their math mate is due tomorrow.

Wednesday

I am so sorry I haven't posted on my blog this week. With the early dismissal and the field trip, the altered schedules have thrown me off schedule.

7th grade: We have finished our unit on integers and equations. We will be moving into transformations tomorrow.

8th grade: We have been working on set theory in class. We will test over this and functions next Tuesday.

Friday

No homework tonight.

7th grade: Quiz Tuesday over equations with integers.

8th grade: We are starting set theory on Monday.

Thursday

7th grade: HW: 3-5 Practice Solving Two-Step Equations pg. 18 (1-21). Math Mate due tomorrow. Quiz over equations next Tuesday.

8th grade: Math Mate due tomorrow. We will start set theory on Monday.

Wednesday

The 8th graders were on a field trip today. If the students did not do their homework Tuesday night, they should finish it tonight. Math Mate is due Friday.

Tuesday

7th grade: They should complete 1-30 of their 2-step equation homework page 67. We did 1-23 together in class, so they should only have a few to do on their own.

8th grade: Complete function worksheet "How did the Spanish explorers save gas?"
