I hope everyone is enjoying their Winter Break. There is no homework over the holidays. I will see you January 5.

Wednesday

I apologize that I didn't have time to blog yesterday. The progress reports took up a large portion of my day and I didn't have time to blog.

7th grade:

Yesterday, we reviewed multiplication and division. They did have homework over this skill. If they did not turn it in today, they need to turn it in tomorrow. Today, we reviewed the skills on the computer. No homework tonight.

8th grade: Yesterday, we introduced 2-step inequalities. Today, they are reviewing previous skills through interactive games online. No homework tonight.

Monday

7th grade: We started on multiplication and division of integers today. They have homework tonight over these skills.

8th grade: We are still working on one-step inequalities. They do not have homework tonight.

Thursday

7th grade: They have a quiz tomorrow over adding and subtracting integers. Their math mate is due tomorrow also.

8th grade: They have homework tonight over one-step inequalities. It is a worksheet with 24 problems. Some of the students may have finished in class. Math Mate due tomorrow.

Wednesday

7th grade: They have homework tonight. It is a worksheet labeled "What do vampires do on Halloween?" They need to do both sides. Math Mate is due Friday.

8th grade: Several 8th graders have homework tonight because they did not complete last night's homework. It is a worksheet over two-step equations. All 24 problems must be completed and the students must show work. Math Mate is due on Friday.

Tuesday

7th grade: We are working on subtracting integers. They have no homework tonight. Math Mate is due Friday.

8th grade: They turned in their project today and we started our new unit on equations and inequalities. They may have a small amount of homework tonight if they did not finish the two-step equation worksheet in class.

Thursday

7th grade: We are still working on adding integers in math class. They may have homework tonight if they did not complete it in class.

8th grade: Their only homework is the project that is due next Tuesday.

MATH'S MATE IS DUE TOMORROW!!!!

Wednesday

7th grade: We have started working on adding integers. They have a small amount of homework tonight practicing adding positive and negative integers.

8th grade: We have been working on Pythagorean Theorem. They have their final test of the unit on Thursday. We have a special tutorial for 8th grade only this Thursday morning at 8:00 A.M. The 8th graders also have a project due next Tuesday. We will work on it tomorrow after the test. Their only homework tonight is to study for their test.
