Monday

7th grade: We started our new unit on geometry. We will be working with compasses and straightedges to construct a variety of shapes and figures. The students need to bring a non-mechanical pencil to school all week. The students may also want to bring their own compass for the activities.

8th grade students: We started working on set theory. They have a quiz Friday over functions, Venn diagrams, and set theory. They need to start studying for the quiz.

Thursday

7th grade: No HW

8th grade: Several students need to finish the "Weekend Activities" venn diagram worksheet.

Wednesday

7th grade: NO HW. We are still working on integers. We will start a new unit on Monday on geometry that includes constructions and transformations.

8th grade: No HW. We are currently working on Venn Diagrams. We will begin working on set notation Monday.

Tuesday

7th grade: Complete "Find a match" equation worksheet.

8th grade: We started Venn Diagrams today. No homework.

Monday

7th grade: Finish algebra practice problems (1-25).

8th grade: Complete EdHelper functions worksheet.

Friday

7th grade: We started working on equations with integers this week. No homework.

8th grade: We are working on functional notation f(x). They need to finish the f(x) worksheet for homework over the weekend. The worksheet is titled " How did the Spanish explorers save gas?"

Thursday

7th grade: Finish "Why are poets poor?" worksheet over equations with integers.

8th grade:

8A: Finish the function packet.

8B: No HW.
